StreetLens is an open-source field instrument that scores sidewalk accessibility, drainage, shade, and bike infrastructure — segment by segment. The live pilot is measuring Escazú.
What it is
StreetLens turns street walks into a public, checkable record. Four lenses, one rubric, bilingual surfaces, and honest provenance: camera observations stay labeled until a field audit is published.
The pilot
The first live deployment is in Escazú, Costa Rica, with CUSP. Field audits begin corridor by corridor in 2026; until then the map paints reviewed camera walks and community contributions on real OpenStreetMap geometry.
